“Absolutely fabulous” Superb barn conversion in lovely surroundings. A perfect place to relax and unwind. A perfect location to explore the beautiful North Yorkshire countryside.The accommodation is finished to a very high standard. It's beautiful, spacious and very comfortable . Jeff & Karen are fantastic hosts and have thought of everything to ensure a perfect stay. The hamper full of lovely goodies was a wonderful surprise when we arrived. We will definitely be returning.

“Relaxed & Chilled.” The Best thing I can say about our hosts Louise & Steve was that we never saw them apart from collecting and returning the keys. Let me explain more on this - we were met by our friendly and amicable hosts who explained how the hot tub worked, showed us inside the summer house where the bbq was and things such as where beach & nearby pubs were. We were advised if we needed anything at all and just ask, as I started didn't need to as EVERYTHING was perfect.We came for 3 stress free night's and that is exactly what we got, and was heavenly. The hot tub was cleaned daily and used up to 3 times a day by us and was great and even our autistic son adored it which was a real bonus. What Louise & Steve have created is a little haven with tremendous attention to detail, from the lights on the external trees to the little fairy tree house. The garden was large and ideal for my dog but so was the beach a gentle 10 mins stroll down the road. I highly recommend this stay as long as you want to chill & relax, if you are used to being constantly on the go this is a must to wind down. I had a chat with Louise on departure and told her to expect another visit from us - it was heavenly, and highly recommend.

“Fantastically equipped cottage, great garden for dogs, and superb location.” We had stayed in Grassington before, and indeed in other cottages in the Dales. But this was without doubt the best. The cottage itself was superb; everything you could want, great space outside, & within walking distance of everywhere. It's nice to be able to wander into the village centre when you want and thus avoid the crowds! The large garden and access through the french windows made it very dog friendly. The owners, who we needed to contact, were very friendly, helpful and understanding. Brill. Only warning (& it is just that) is that the lane is very narrow and care with a large vehicle is needed.

“Warm welcome, wonderful cottage, wicked views!” We returned to High View for a second visit and were delighted to find it just as pleasurable as the first time. The accomodation is great with everything you could need and very comfortable beds. Gemma was very welcoming and even invited us to the local Halloween party to the delight of our children. This time we visited Skipton and Leeds using the very convenient local train service which is only a short walk from the cottage, and also made use of the excellent pub and play park in the village. Despite this being a return visit we still feel we would like to visit again and enjoy some of the walks and footpaths nearby. Definately worth a visit, many thanks again Gemma!

“Mr” Just returned from am absolutely fantastic weekend at this beautiful cottage. Everything you could hope for in a rural yorkshire dales experience! Walks from the front door, idyllic village and a lovely aga and log burner! We will definitely use again. We were 2 couples and our dog, really excellent all round. Also gave the locals a run for their money in the sunday night pub quiz in the Clarendon. we fell in love with the area and cant recommend enough! Big thanks to Mike the owner who was very helpful through booking and queries. Didnt disappoint! cheers from us all

“Betty's Bothy” What a wonderful place this is! A beautiful spot in the great Yorkshire Dales. Fabulous hosts, who showed us around the farm & introduced us to all the animals. Collecting eggs for breakfast was a real treat! The bothy is perfectly thought out, with everything you need for your stay. Very comfortable, warm & homely. Lovely breakfast items left for us in the kitchenette. We will definitely be back & hopefully not just for a flying visit next time!

“Fantastic place to stay for a great get away” We stayed here after our wedding at gretna green and called it our mini moon :) The lodge was perfect. It was very clean and very comfortable. It had everything that we needed. The outside decking area and hot tub were fabulous. The owners of the lodge met us when we arrived and gave us a full tour of the lodge explained everything and told us a little bit about the area. If you like mountain biking head over to Gisburn forest that is only a couple of mile away from the lodge. We will defiantly be staying here again soon

“Excellent accommodation in a quiet location with easy access to the city centre.” Very high standard with quality fixtures and fittings. Lovely touches such as the bathrobes and quality toiletries. Despite being close to the city centre it was very quiet. No more than 5 minutes walk to the city centre - either direct or via the Museum Gardens or alongside the river. Nice courtyard garden which I'm sure would be put to good use in summer - rather too wet and cold in November! Only downside - watch your head on the cooker hood - if you do any cooking you WILL bang your head on it!!

“Great stay” We spent 3 days at Buck Place with our 3 year old & 6 month old. The house was great, lovely decor & furnishings and well equipped. Lovely outside space with a bench & table & chairs to sit out & enjoy the weather. We used the BBQ two of the three nights. Communication with the owner was clear & easy. The location is great, just outside of Filey, only a few minutes by car. The Bay is a nice resort, lovely and quiet. The pool was a great added bonus that our children loved. There is also a playground that was a big hit too. Su has though of everything to make it a comfortable stay and we’re already looking at dates we can visit again.

“Absolutely Wonderful..!” The cottage and location are simply beautiful and picturesque. We had ample space, the rooms were welcoming and spacious. Lovely white sheets and towels were provided, as well as large comfortable king size beds. The cottage itself is furnished just right and the amenities are the best you could ask for. They have thought of everything. We used the dishwasher and oven and both these facilities worked perfectly. The roof garden has lovely views and we recommend you see this part of the cottage too. We sat in the garden and had a cup of tea, it was very peaceful and pretty. We would definitely go back and are considering returning in 2018. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay in Cobble Cottage.

“Lovely new year break” Visited over new year and I have to say I was so happy when we arrived. It’s quite a bit bigger than the pictures online show and the rooms are nice sizes. Beds were extremely comfy! I was a little worried about how cold it would be as I had read there was no heating, only the log burner and some electrical heaters however there was no need to be worried. The first night I had to turn most of the heaters off as we were too hot and the final night we didn’t even bother lighting the fire as we found it warm enough with just the heater on in the living room. There are some excellent views from the village and a lovely little pub straight across the road. Food was delicious here and dogs are welcomed which is a must for us. The one Thing I did struggle with was the hot water. We found if you didn’t have a shower first, the second person would be left with Luke warm or freezing cold water, especially if you were getting ready mid morning after a late breakfast. So if you want a later shower I would recommend the very top shower or waiting until early afternoon. For it to warm again. (However this did not effect our stay or views on the cottage) The cottage is equipped with everything you need it was like home from home. If I was to make a suggestion about anything it would have been nice to have some tea and coffee supplies. Unfortunately we forgot to bring tea bags which we did not realise until waking up our first morning and there are no shops in walking distance, the tea room was also closed. All in all it was a really enjoyable break and would love to visit again

“Just amazing” What can i say? Myself, my partner and our 2 year old had a 4 night stay at Broomfield. This apartment has everything you need and more. The attention to detail is superb. The beds are so comfortable, even our 2 year old did not wish to get up! Perfect location, as just 5-10 minute walk from the centre. If you need any bits and pieces there is a large Co-Op store, which stayed open until 11pm!! We booked a car park space on JustPark, as recommended by Sharan. This also was great as for 5 days it cost just £12.00 and was parked off road, just a short walk away. So much to see and do that we are planning a return visit and be staying for allot longer.

“Excellent apartment in the city center overlooking the river.” This is a first class apartment in the center of York. Everything needed was supplied and the owners kindly provided a starter pack of essentials and some nice extras which were greatly appreciated. Communication with the owners could not be faulted and we were greeted on arrival and shown round the apartment. Parking is in a designated space which is bonus in a city center location. Despite the close proximity to the city the apartment was extremely quite with no noise from outside or other residents in the block. We have stayed in a number of apartments over the years and can genuinely say this is one of the best we have stayed in. Thanks to Sue and John for your hospitality.
