“Excellent find!” Willow Lodge 4 is an ideal base for anyone wanting to explore Stratford & surrounding areas. Rob & Christine are lovely! They have great personalities & nothing is too much trouble. The Lodge is absolutely immaculate throughout & very spacious. All of the furnishings & facilities are exceptionally high quality and the kitchen is well equipped with everything you could possibly need! Avon Park itself is very well maintained and feels private, safe & secure.The club house is a short walk away from the Lodge. It has a large green area for kids to play & run around in and also a decent play area to keep them occupied while parents enjoy a cheeky drink or two! A trip on the river taxi is definitely worth a go, however it can get very busy so choose your time carefully! We would definitely recommend this place & know where we'll be staying on our next trip to Stratford!

“Splendid experience by far the best in UK” We would like to take the opportunity to thank the owners of the cottage to present us with an excellent cottage to stay. The living room was beatiful, the conservatory splendid, The kitchen was neat and tidy and had all the amenties we needed. Rayburn was a different experience. The gardens were lush and green , fish pond was beautiful. Bedrooms were cosy and spa was a different experience. Overall worth the trip. Special thanks to owners for their recommendations to visit places. They were approachable and decent.

“Great place” Not a lot to say but great little place would definitely recommend to a family ie. two adults to children because if going as two couples with having a jack and gill bathroom wouldn’t have much privacy during night visits also second bedroom I personally say just for children bit small for two adults but that’s just my opinion but I would definitely go again and already looking to book again for next year

“Lovely cottage” We stayed at bramble cottage for 3 nights we found it to be very cosy and welcoming, with a bottle of wine awaiting on arrival, an added bonus. It's an ideal base for touring the delightful cotswolds villages. The communication with the owner Michael was excellent throughout.

“Very peaceful stay on the banks of a quiet river near Stratford.” A very nice corner location on a peaceful, quiet holiday site, adequate parking for my car and good security. The surroundings are a beautiful wide river avon and typical country farmland with cattle, birds and the swans of course. The rental is situated on the banks of the river and local walks are interesting, a boat ride to Stratford and back is available across the bridge, 5 minutes away. I regularly had meals out on the private front deck watching the ocassional small boat go by as a few keen fishermen sat on the banks of the river. The site is quiet and peaceful with trees and hedges skirting the site parimeter nearby, you can look out the window of the lodge and see the cows and sheep grazing in the next field. The adequate accomodation and the closeness of the site to Stratford itself, makes this a definite must for any holiday guest wanting true relaxation and to also experience the fascinating beauty of the Midlands countryside. Nearby Stratford has everything, shops, great restaurants, museums, theatre, pubs and walks along the beautiful river, all this only about three miles from the site. Accomodation in the lodge is neat, modern, tidy, comfortable and clean, the kitchen excellent for cooking and adequate for entertaining guests of visiting family or friends. I enjoyed my stay very much and plan on returning soon.

“The Perfect Weekend” This was the perfect weekend for myself and my girlfriend. The cottage was perfect, and the addition of the hot tub was amazing. Sitting in the hot tub whilst it was raining was especially nice, with some nice music on and a glass of champagne its heaven! I couldnt find a fault with the cottage, it was romantic, cosy and furnished beautifully. All the little touches that were included make it that extra bit special, such as eggs provided from the owners free range hens. It was so perfect, that I proposed to my girlfriend here (I took the ring in anticipation that it would be as romantic as the pictures suggest, and it was) so we are now engaged :) The only thing disappointing was not getting to meet Katriona and Rupert as they were away during our stay, but their communication during our stay was very nice. The surrounding areas are lovely, Stratford is worth a visit it is just 10mins drive and there are plenty of nice restaurants within 5-10mins drive. Overall, I would recommend this to anyone at any time of year, and we will definately be staying again!

“We're heading back! Perfect location and beautiful setting” I organised to stay here with 6 other friends. Its perfect for us all meeting up as its bang in the middle of where we all live up and down the country. It was everything we needed. Plenty of space, a beautiful fire, homely, cosy and comfortable. We had the greatest weekend and Geoff was lovely and so accomodating. We cooked up a lovely roast one of the days and all fit very well around the table. We walked in to the closest town and stopped at a couple of pubs on one of the days. It was no more than a 15 minute walk with us dawdling! The price for the cottage is excellent value, especially when its split between 7 of you. We couldnt have asked for more really. Infact, it was so perfect we're hoping to return.
