“charming well equipped cottage in a lovely village” Lovely stay for 11 nights, cottage was welsh charm in itself and had everything you could think off. Hot tub was an excellent addition and was used nightly. Travelled with partner 16 yr old and 11yr old and the double bedroom each was a pleasing bonus for them as was wifi and selection of books and dvds to use. Llanberis has a beautiful lake and lovely places to eat and an excellent spa that is decently priced. Also had really good weather, some days very hot ! Recommended, absolutely :)

“The most amazing holiday ever.” This was our first holiday at Christmas, and what an amazing time we had. The hosts were so helpful and welcoming. The log cabin was fantastic. The location was superb, so peaceful, and so close to Dolgellau for shops. The bed was so comfortable, high standard of cleanliness, and spoilt with sauna & hot tub. We have never experienced such a relaxing holiday. Superb walks and scenery nearby. We will definitely be returning to Wnion Wood in the near future, and recommending it to our family & friends. Ereca & Phil should be very proud of their log cabin. Thank you both so much for making Christmas 2012 a holiday to remember.

“Little Slice of Heaven... All you need for a truly exceptional break!” Milk Wood is truly as outstanding as Ereca & Phil explain in the description. If you are cynical like myself then please take time to read each review. I had high expectations of it having read the reviews and was still blown away for what they have to offer. 5* without the clinical feel, so that you feel likes its a home to relax in. They have thought of everything that you need and a lot more. The sauna and hot tub & log fire really make it extra special and are just the ticket after the spectacular walks nearby. This lodge is in the corner of the sight so when you are sitting outside you feel like you are on your own, its totally secluded and at the bottom of the garden there is a lovely wood. Never been to Wales and did not realise what a beautiful friendly place it is to visit. We will definitely be back for another visit and would not hesitate to choose Milk Wood as our place to stay. Never been to Wales, will not be the last time. The area is totally breathtaking. Some of the nicest scenery i've ever seen.

“Bala” Easy to find and away from Bala but walkable distance. Owners very friendly and cottage very nice ideal for what we wanted. A good location for a lot of attractions.local village people very friendly pubs and shops have got every thing you need.On the whole very good holiday made better by the fiendly people and beautiful countryside.

“Home from home” Third time staying within last year , think husband would move in permanent if he could . Peaceful , lovely area , lots of different walks , highly recommend The Last Inn in Barmouth , best burger and chips . Erica and Phil have thought of everything , lodge beautiful , clean and comfortable . Best and most relaxing two week holiday in a long time . Looking forward to returning ASAP

“An excellent holiday” Our stay in Harlech was very enjoyable. The holiday home was ideal, with plenty of room for three of us and contained everything you needed. It had excellent touches, from bookmarks on arrival to plenty of DVDs and books to entertain us. Everything was extremely clean and well looked after. We even had the pleasure of meeting the couple who cleaned the place when we left and they couldn't have been friendlier. We were well situated for the activities we did, from visiting Harlech castle, to canyoning and the zip wire. The price was also extremely reasonable. We will definitely look to return!

“Fantastic property, loved the decking area to the rear, amazing views and private.” Spent an amazing week at this property. The accommodation was everything we had hoped for. Spent so much time in the decking area to the rear. We brought our Snoodle called Ted, and he really enjoyed himself too. The welcome pack was a nice touch, really enjoyed the cake. We spent much of the week walking and exploring locally, would suggest purchasing an OS map and explore some of the disused slate workings in the surrounding mountains. If you are into mountain biking its well worth booking onto the uplift at Antor Stiniog, £29 for the day and as many runs as you can handle. We also visited Shell Island which I would highly recommend on a nice day.

“Perfection on the hill” Everything you read about Fox’s lair is so correct, the location of the property, from booking with Gary, to arrival, our stay and unfortunately leaving it was everything I could have asked for. The lair is very well equipped, clean, and warm. It’s 10 minutes away from Aberdovey, lovely walks around the area. Really didn’t want to leave. Will be booking again. Only negative but not the owners fault is the drive up could be maintained better, thankfully I was driving an SUV

“Lovely stay” My fiance and I and our two small boys stayed here for a week in July and we couldn't recommend it enough! The barn was decorated to a very high standard and w everything was clean. Our boys loved playing in the garden and exploring the stream at the bottom of the garden, and it was lovely to be able to sit in the yard at dinner time enjoying the amazing views! This was our first family holiday away and it was a brilliant one! Thank you, Debbie,Mark, Jack and Max
