The rivers, lakes and the sea in Slovenia offer endless possibilities for unspoilt fishing holidays. One of the best angling resorts is at the river Krka, which offers clear waters and magnificent sceneries. Spare some time to visit one of the many castles or a country manor, and the Slovenian capital Ljubljana. In the winter months there is good skiing to be had, and in the summer the pleasant climate makes for a brilliant alternative sunny break.

Beautiful house, beautiful location.

The house was everything we hoped for and more. Such a beautiful property with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The house is located in a village with easy access by car to the local towns. It is a really beautiful part of the county with some lovely walks and scenery. The river is very close - just a 10 min walk. Good for a quick dip although very cold! We were there when there was a heatwave and temperatures were over 35C. There were other rivers good for swimming a short drive away. We didnt see Hannah but found the key and instructions easy. Hannah did reply to any questions we had by email while we were staying there. Although I believe there is some public transport we would recommend a car. Also there is shop/bar/restaurant within walking distance and so you are reliant on a car to go to such places. Overall I would definitely recommend staying here. … see more

Fabulous!!

Our host Nina was lovely and so helpful. Her apartment was spotlessly clean and comfortable. We were a family of 2 adults and three children, we had plenty of space with a double room and the kids had bunk beds and double bed in their room. The kitchen had sufficient amenities for preparing breakfast and light lunch. The apartment itself is just off the main road but is still quiet enough, there was parking for our car and was easy enough to find. It’s a walk about 0.6 miles down to the lake and was perfect for our family. We wish we had booked more time there!! I would highly recommend this apartment for anyone travelling to Bled.; … see more
The Best View at the Market - Apt. Šarka
Perfect location, great host.

Arrived late and Sarka had left us wine, cold meat, cheese, milk, bread, which was a lovely treat. The apartment is spacious and very well equipped with tea, instant coffee and free use of a coffee machine outside in the corridor. Also cooking oil and other condiments to use. Wifi is good. On the notice board in the lounge Sarka has displayed every piece of information that you should require. The apartment is in the most convenient of locations and very quiet even though you look on to the pretty market square.
