“perfect stay” Booked for a 3 day stay over Christmas. Welcomed with groceries, bottle of champagne and Christmas tree! Had 7 for Christmas lunch, we had everything necessary for cooking and a perfect lounge/diner/kitchen area so no one missed out. Warm and cosy. Lovely walks along the beach and up to the village. The on site café and deli were very good.

“EXCELLENT APARTMENT!” Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Little Bay Apartment in Oban. Excellent location with lovely views over the port and bay. The apartment was immaculately clean, had a lovely big kitchen and was well equipped with everything you need for a great holiday, in this gorgeous part of Scotland. Will definitely return one day.

“Superbly equipped house in wonderful location” For our mixed party (retired couple plus brother with learning difficulties, son and partner, other son) the house provided large comfortable rooms with, crucially, two seating areas with TVs. This meant that not everyone had to do the same thing. Beds were comfortable and the beautiful pictures around the house made it very homely and relaxing. The kitchen was small but reasonably well equipped and all instructions had been provided and were clear. We would have welcomed more large pans we self-catered most of the week). The house is close to the well stocked village shop, the post office and pub. The area has fantastic hill-walking, rock climbing and beaches, and the flora, fauna and geology are wonderful - what more could a person want?!

“Good location. Good cottage. Some details could be improved.” Good cottage in good location. Perfect if you want some sea views/close to high street and harbour and seconds away from nearest ‘smokie’! Overall we are happy with staying in this cottage. We rated it 4 out of 5 stars as we believe with little TLC and some small ‘touches’ it would deserve 5 stars. We stayed in quite a lot of cottages during our holidays and we can compare what makes staying more enjoyable. Writing it so owners might improve a little bit and make it better for future holidaymakers. It is worth mentioning that toilets are all on first floor: landing and en-suite.(Please bear in mind that there is no bath tub/only one shower for all to share). For elderly it is a bit challenging as there are few steps obviously. There is no DVD player and this and selection of some dvd’s would be good. Also, you cannot open for some reason any windows in bedrooms exept in one on top floor. So it can be quite humid and stale after a while. Also some welcome folder with description how all works, history of cottage, numbers/addresses etc would be nice. Back yard is a bit rough and looks like it is ready for fish guttering:( Maybe decking, a wee bench/table and some flowers would be nice in future? We were lucky with parking very close to cottage every day but believe in high season this might be a challenge as quite limited spaces. Some wee bottle on arrival or packet of local shortbread would be a nice touch. As well as book of guests missing (normally thats the best part of our stay when you can read comments often as back as 10-15years!). After all, we would use this cottage again in future as location is simply difficult to beat:)

“Excellence” Without a doubt, the best. A month of travels in Scotland and we were fortunate to stay here. The quality of everything was noticeable in every aspect. I do hope we can stay here again on our next visit.

“Beautiful, picturesque,very relaxing and peaceful” The cottage itself is spotless and very well presented with great extras like full sky package and broadband, Set in a lovely little village just off two stunning beaches and a golf course. Short drive into Campbletown where you will find plenty of nice places to dine and have a few drinks if you wish.mull of kintyre is a must see and we will definately be returning some time soon.

“The most wonderful place to unwind” Good facilities. Comfortable beds. Efficient heating system - much appreciated as weather down to 3 degrees again for much of the time. Unbelievable views from the conservatory - across the loch to the Hebrides - and watching the shepherd with his dog bringing up the sheep many a morning.

“Absolutely fabulous” Had a brilliant stay at this cottage in the pretty village of coldingham. It is extremely well equipped and spotlessly clean. The beds were the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in! My favourite part of the cottage was the conservatory and the garden which is so pretty! We will definitely be back!

“Great Apartment and Location” My friend and I stayed in this apartment for a couple of nights and found it suited our needs perfectly. It was very clean, spacious and with comfy beds and the wifi worked well. The location was perfect, just minutes away from the railway station, restaurants and shops. Being on a main road we thought there might be traffic noise but that was not a problem. All in all an ideal place to stay if you want to be near everything in central Glasgow.
