“fab stay” Villa baia is a beautiful complex, and this apartment is excellent , spacious and ultra modern. i would highly recommend it to family and friends, you are very close to the beach and excellent restaurants that luz has. We had a fab stay and cant wait to return.

“We will be back....” The farmhouse is in a peacefull location within easy reach of the local beaches.The Farmhouse has everything you need for a relaxing stay.Our boys who are aged 9 and 7 loved the pool and chose to stay in the room with their very own bathroom!!! It was great that when they needed to chill out,the dvd player and ps2 was at hand,as that gave us a chance to chill and read a book by the pool..If you are looking for a relaxing holiday with good local restuarants and fantastic beaches this is the place to stay...

“Beautiful” When we arrived at the area where villa mimi was in we were a bit disappointed as it seemed away from everything and the area a bit run down but as soon as we entered the villa we were gobsmacked. Claudio has a gorgeous place, too good for our kids. Everyone loved it especially the pool and underground games room. There is a stair gaurd at top of the stairs great if u have wondering kids (pity wasn't one at bottom minor) The pool was so warm as we used the cover that we were told to use only thing we had be extra cautious as there is no gaurd around the pool and it was quite deep but that didn't stop us. There is lovely restaurants/pubs "the Dubliner and Erin's isle" about 5 mins walk from villa . Lovely Irish bars. There is an inter marche up beside Erin's isle and the strip is only a 10 min walk from villa. Taxi into old town is 6€ per car. Couldn't fault the place. Thanks Claudio

“Our little piece of heaven” The Cabrita family are excellent hosts. Nothing is too much trouble for them. If you have a problem they are always there to help and assist you. I was unfortunate enough to be mugged, Gabriel took us to the Police Station and stayed with us until 12.30am, then took us back to Pomba Branca, what a star.I must say that we have been going to Portugal for 25 years and this is the first time such an incident has happened, It certainly will not put us off we have already booked for next year. Pomba Branca is home from home, every comfort is provided, hygiene is faultless, conveniently nearby are Supermarkets, Chemists, Restaurants, Banks, One stop booking tour office, Taxi rank, Bus stops, Doctor, Dentist, Hairdresser and Margareths Massage Saloon(Highly recommended for that extra bit of pampering). Pomba Branca has it all and the beach is just a short walk away and if you are lucky lots of lovely sunshine.

“Private villa, beautiful resort, great for a beach holiday with the kids!” This was our first time to stay in a private villa and our first time in Carvoeiro. It is a beautiful resort, great for a beach holiday with the kids The villa was perfect for us. The kids loved the garden and pool. For them, there was no reason to leave the house. Having satellite TV kept them occupied! The kitchen was well stocked with appliances and the welcome pack was a "welcome" surprise. We were a bit worried about a private villa but from the start everything went smoothly. Virgilio (Villa Manager) met us on arrival and the maid Maria came by regularly and was lovely, they give you a very welcoming feeling. All in all we had a great time, Thanks and see you again next year!

“Villa Sete Albufeira” Stayed at villa Sete for 10 days. There were 5 in our party.The transfer from the airport was prompt and friendly,I would recomend anyone to use this service should they need to. We were welcomed by Jimmy, who had bought us a few essentials, which was a nice touch. he showed us around the villa, and answered our questions, explained how the safe worked, all we needed to know really. The villa was spot on, all the bedrooms were en suite,the kitchen was more than adequate for our needs, and the living area was spaceous and comfortable. There is a sky box, but no card, so we received all the UK freeview TV and radio channels. The pool is well maintained, and is a good size and depth, there are plenty of sunbeds too.The pool table is to one side, all the cues and balls were in good order, the grass isn't very green, but this is down to the fact people walk round the pool table and there's no rain. I would suggest this area be flagged or tiled, but this is not a complaint. the location is ideal, 10 mins walk to the strip or 10 mins walk to the old town. There are plenty of shops/mini markets near by for your shopping very close by, and the villa is in a cul de sac so traffic noise isn't an issue.Would definately visit villa Sete again

“WOW! Amazing” booked this villa for a hen party of 21. After reading negative reviews on this site about break ins I emailed Jim and he called me straight away and put my mind at ease. The communication before I went was excellent and first class when I was there! The villa is AMAZING! So so clean and tidy. Beautiful pool and gardens. Excellent location and Maguel the manager in Portugal was so good, he was just a phone call away for your every need. Nothing was too much trouble, taxis, advice any issues were dealt with promptly with a smile!! He was brilliant! I honestly cannot thank the staff at Columbia holidays for providing an amazing villa at excellent prices! We loved every second of our holiday and I will definitely return. The villa could not have been more secure if they tried, shutters, alarms, sensors, safety deposit box.... what more could you want??? We certainly felt secure!! Please book this villa if you want great location, luxury accommodation at affordable prices and Maguel on hand to help! :) Thank you for the most amazing time :))

“Excellent Condo” I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone. It is a new, very nice place to stay with everything you might need while you are there. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine - nice! The owners were very expedient in communicating with us before and during our stay. The apartment has underground parking which is very handy. The pools looked great ( a little too cool yet during our stay). There are some DVD's and great books for your use while you are there. The view from the balcony is amazing and a great place for morning coffee while soaking up the sun. The beach and town centre and restaurants are all walking distance. Lagos is also a great location from which to take many day trips and check out other villages and beaches. We went to Sagres, Mochique, Silves and Aljezur while we there and several times took a long a picnic to enjoy on the beautiful beaches while listening to the waves crash into shore. The grounds are kept very clean and the guards at the reception were great as well. You do have to get your own WiFi or you can use the computer in the reception for no extra costs or many of the restaurants also have free WiFI.

“Perfect base for Albufeira” We've just returned from this accommodation and found it to be the perfect base for a holiday in Albufeira. It is a 5 minute walk down to the Old Town/beach where there are no shortage of bars and restaraunts. If you don't feel like walking back up hill taxis are readily available. It is also 5 minutes walk to the nearest supermarket. The house itself is a great size, is nicely decorated and was spotlessly clean. In the kitchen there is a full cooker/oven, large fridge and plenty of utensils. The balconies and patio are all of good size and could easily accomodate 4 chairs. The built in BBQ on the ground floor patio is a nice touch. This patio also looks out over the well kept gardens and pool area. We loved our stay here and wouldn't hesitate going back again or recommending to family or friends. Rob, the owner, was great to communicate with and very helpful.

“Wonderful Holiday” We had a really enjoyable holiday in Villa Francesca in June 2011. The beautiful villa, the garden/pool and the tennis courts next door were all ideal for our group which included our adult children and small grandchildren. The owners were kind enough to put childproof fencing on the upstairs balcony and this, together with a gate for the stairs in the villa gave us great peace of mind during our holiday. We played some golf on the nearby courses and the charming village of Carvoiero with plenty of excellent restaurants was just a few kilometres away. We would heartily recommend Villa Francesca to any family group and we hope to stay there again in the future.

“Lovely Carvoeiro holiday” Pedro was very responsive and really helpful from booking to when we were about to leave the apartment. The location of the apartment is literally a 2 mins walk from the beach and was ideally situated right in the centre of Carvoeiro for all the bars and restaurants. If you like a beach holiday, with easy walking access to restaurants and bars this apartment would be ideal.

“EXCELLENT APARTMENT IN GOOD LOCATION” We have stayed in Dos Santos on a number of occasions, most recently September 2010. The apartment is in the perfect location for all that Carvoeiro has to offer, being close to a large selection of good restaurants, a variety of shops, and the pretty beach, just a short walk away. Dos Santos is clean, comfortable, spacious and well furnished, and we particularly enjoy relaxing on the huge balcony, which has both sun and shade throughout the day, so is suitable for sun worshippers and also those who prefer to sit out of the sun with a good book. The owners are friendly and helpful, and have provided everything necessary to ensure guests have an enjoyable holiday. We are already looking forward to another Dos Santos holiday later in 2012,

“A beautiful well equipped apartment with fantastic views.” We loved the apartment and the location, we would recommend having a car. This area of Portugal is completely unspoilt. “Chilled out stay” Just back from Casa Monte in Carvoeiro where I was on holiday with my parents, fiancee, brother and his wife and kids. We had an awesome holiday, helped by the weather but also the location of Casa Monte. We were able to walk two minutes to several restaurants which made last minute dinner plans easy and some of them had wi-fi that you could use during the day. Then went down into town a couple of nights and there are loads more places to eat & drink to choose from. The kids, who are four, loved the pool and so did my brother because with it being totally enclosed he could relax a bit more. The villa is spotless with loads of open space and it was easy to get keys and check in and out. We rented golf clubs from Clubs To Hire at the airport and also managed to play the new Faldo and O'Connor course just 20 mins away. The O'Connor course is brilliant and the Faldo course is very good, although there are 4 holes on the back nine which I wasn't sure about. Carvoeiro is simple to get to, about 45 mins from airport, and I found it cheaper to eat and drink in than Villamoura and a welcome change to some of the stag and hen nights. All in all, I think i'll be back.
