“Beautiful, historic place” Ta Torri is the most incredible place - full of history and character. We loved every aspect and are desperate to return. The garden is huge and full of incredible trees and plants with the most fabulous vistas. We were absolutely thrilled to find the chameleons in the bushes! It was a bit cool for the pool but it looked lovely. There were so many places to sit and enjoy the sun and plenty of garden furniture and loungers. I loved reading about the history of the house and seeing the photos of its restoration. I have been telling all my friends to go.

“A perfect place to spend your vacation” This apartment was exactly what we were looking for in Malta. The two bedrooms, glass sliding doors and balcony gave it a feeling of spaciousness. The view of St. Paul's Bay from the balcony was beautiful, day and night. It was the perfect setting for breakfast coffee to wine time in the evening. The apartment provided all the necessities to have some meals in. There were restaurants and a grocery store within easy walking distance and many more a short bus ride away. The bus stop is right outside the front door and we used it often to get around the island. A bus pass can be purchased that allows unlimited travel for 7 days. The apartment was very clean and the view soothing. Ruth and Neville could not have been easier to work with. Before we arrived they answered every email promptly and patiently and were even more helpful when we arrived. They made arrangements for our transport from and later back to the airport, advised us on what to see in Malta and even booked tours for us. Thanks to Ruth and Neville, their lovely apartment and the beautiful country of Malta, this was the perfect place for us to spend our vacation.

“Oh so comfortable villa - and that pool!” A wonderful, private and oh so comfortable villa - and that pool! We enjoyed 8 days of peace, quiet and comfort staying in Ta Berta in Sannat. The welcoming Sam and Michelle have created a fantastic home away from home. Thank you for everything. You guys are the best!

“Huge apartment in perfect location” This was a brilliant place to stay for a holiday in Malta. The apartment was huge. From the street entrance it was two floors up and there was a lift. The apartment opened in to a long hallway. There were three large bedrooms off this. The master bedroom bigger than some apartments we've stayed in, and it had an en-suite bathroom. There was plenty of storage so all the luggage was out if sight for the whole week. There was a shower room, complete with washing machine, and a very large kitchen containing everything needed to self-cater. The end of the hallway opened on to a large living and dining area. This was a very spacious light room, as there were two sets of patio doors that opened on to the south facing balcony. It was a quiet apartment as there is no traffic at the front. The view from the balcony over Spinola Bay was beautiful at all times of the day. Even in February we were able to sit with a drink and read watching what was going on. As the apartment is on a hill is it higher at the front, looking over the bay, than at the back where you enter from the street. The location is great too. There were food and drink shops within 5 minutes walk, and countless restaurants and bars very close by. Cuba, at the end of the street overlooking the bay, became a favourite and was excellent for the 2 for 1 cocktails during Happy Hour. We travelled to several places by bus during our week. The bus stops are also within 5 minutes walk of the apartment and travel is just €1.50 per day! We had one rainy day (not bad for the time of year) and spent it being lazy, and going to the cinema in St Julians, probably 15-20 minutes walk away at the most. The cinema prices were very cheap. We had a couple of problems during out stay and on both occasions Albert sorted them out for us immediately. There was no DVD player, and when he realised it had been moved he brought another one round (we stayed in after our evening meals as the apartment was so comfortable). On another occasion the electricity went off. This was caused by a problem with the en-suite water heater. Again Albert sorted the electricity out and was arranging for a plumber to attend. This was not a problem as there was another shower room. The apartment and location made the holiday and I would definitely return.

“fantastic farmhouse.” stayed at farmhouse in gharb,very peaceful .beautiful rustic building 4 lovely bedrooms ,cool courtyard to cool down from the hot sun. stunning pool and baby pool. plenty sun loungers .wi-fi in the living room all rounded off with a good well equipped kitchen.. stunning beach at ramla bay. and a lovely small town called xlendi filled with fish and steak restuarants all nestled in a secluded bay. victoria is the main shopping area only 10 mins away on the bus which is very cheap.the crossing on the ferry was also very nice from malta only 25 mins would highly recomend this property ,if you want a relaxing holiday on the gorgeous island of gozo.

“No title could do justice...” No title could do justice to the experience of staying here. Pauline was a great host; helpful, on hand when needed yet unintrusive. She gave local recommendations when asked for and was a breeze to communicate and organise with. It is hard to appreciate a good host until one experiences to the contrary, but we were in very good hands from start to finish. The farmhouse itself is beautiful, quite classically decorated and the rooms are well-appointed. If you're reading this then I'm guessing you want to know whether or not you want to stay here. Here are some things which may help. Highlights (for us): - the gas BBQ & grill on the patio - the incredible view, including sunrise from the balcony. - the location is so peaceful but so connected for when you want (see below). No disturbances. - within hazy-stumbling distance of Xaghra Square (honestly 7, straight-line minutes), Ramla Bay (20) and some really old ancient things (10). - air conditioning - spacious, not just in sleeping capacity but also in living areas i.e. kitchen and living room. It can entertain as many as it can sleep. - Gozo transport is incredibly cheap, efficient and good quality. - the local community are warm, good-humoured and friendly. Some things to be prepared for: - mosquitos will have a go, unless the farmhouse is since equipped with nets, guards or working deterrents. - that's about it. In case it's helpful - we're in our mid-twenties. We saw mostly older families/friends here (and not overrun with tourists in May/June). We found Gozo & Malta neither too quiet nor too hectic, and with plenty of room for either extreme if you so desire. Take a good book for the poolside and go clubbing in La Grotta on Friday night/morning. Gozo is beautiful. You should go. Just leave room for us.

“Fantastic house in a lovely area” We were greeted by Anthony on our arrival. He showed us around his beautiful house before leaving us to explore. We were provided with a welcome pack which included; milk, eggs, ham, cheese and bread and a wonderful bottle of home made wine which was such an unexpected but lovely gesture. The house was immaculate and fully equipped for my us and our two children (aged 14yrs and 8yrs). It gave us enough space to relax and allowed us to enjoy a real family holiday together. The pool was a god send in the hot days, it was difficult to get our youngest out of there. We also enjoyed the BBQ area, often eating & relaxing on the roof during the cooler evenings whilst watching the numerous firework displays across the island. As we were in the house over a week, Anthony and his wife came (by prior arrangement) to change the linen, they are both very friendly and accommodating and they even gave us a home made Malta cross which we found very touching. We have had to pay up to 80 Euros for linen service at previous accommodation but this was included in the agreed price here. We have stayed both on Malta & Gozo many times but this property was by far the best value for money that we have come across. We thoroughly enjoyed are time here and would definitely recommend this to anyone.

“Truly Amazing- would recommend to anyone!” My family and I stayed at Villa Elma for two weeks and what a brilliant two weeks they were! On arrival to the property, we were greeted by the host who showed us around the accomodation and gave us additional information such as local restaurants, taxi services and when the cleaners/pool man would visit- something which we found very useful! The accomodation was beautifully modern and very spacious/open-plan, a feature that's great for a large number of people. The kitchen was large and had all the utensils and tools we needed to prepare and cook meals- big cooker/microwave/dishwasher/coffee machine/kettle. This flowed into the dining room and then into a cosy lounge with an L-shaped settee and a large TV with DVD player. Opposite this was a wall of glass windows and doors that led to the indoor pool- a really nice feature! The bedrooms were extremely spacious with plenty of storage, large beds and air conditioning units, something which we definitely needed! As an aside, speakers were routed throughout the rooms so music could be played to them via the tablet in the kitchen. The entirety of the villa was unbelievably clean and had a very homey feel to it. The lights were controlled by motion sensored switches and could also be turned on/off by an iPad mounted on the wall, which we found was really cool! The outside was roomy and got practically an entire day of sunshine- as south facing as they come! There was however, outside seating that was located in the shade for people who didn't wish to sit in the sun. The pool was very big and the perfect depth for all ages- it got very hot during the day which was lovely! The outside speakers also placed music from either the radio or a docking station- an extra luxury we were not expecting! All in all, the villa was beautiful and Franco was very attentive and friendly to any issues or questions that we had. What made it extra special was the attention to detail and extra touches that made our visit that bit better- a stocked fridge, plenty of towels, toilet rolls, complimentary shampoo/soap, a cleaner to change towels and someone to clean the pool once a week. My family and I would recommend absolutely anybody to this property, as the villa was faultless, the host welcoming and friendly as well as the nearest town (Naxxar) only a ten-minute walk away with plenty of restaurants, cafes and shops. It was a wonderful visit and we'd stay here again anytime!

“An awesome holiday” This was our second stay at Tal-Kittara Villa, having been invited by our children and son-in-law last year we enjoyed it so much we returned the compliment this year. Once again we all had a great time at the villa which is excellent for a family like ours with three couples, one with two children. You are extremely well looked after by the Borg family who are lovely people. Nothing is too much trouble for them. The transport from and to Malta airport is well organised and efficient.Once there the bus system will get you virtually anywhere you are likely to want to go via the main terminus which is only 15 minutes away.Try all the main bays and see what suits you best. The villa's pool is an essential in august - our grandchildren love it and we can all relax and have fun.Or, just relax. The kitchen facilities for self-catering are very good and they will stock up for you if you let them have a list of your requirements.We strongly recommend their own eggs and tomatoes. We were there at the height of the fiesta season with fireworks bands playing and processions through Victoria which was an added bonus. If you can get there it is highly enjoyable - even the thunderstorm. This is an excellent place to stay where you will be looked after by the family. There are also excellent places to eat in Victoria - we especially liked the Ittok restaurant where you sit overlooking the main square and watch the comings and goings whilst consuming good food and rather good cocktails. Highly recommended all round.Try it.

“Great - will book again” Been many times on holiday to Malta and have to say that this is probably the best and certainly the most pleasant accommodations for the price that I've experienced. Well equipped with everything you'd need, a friendly shop nearby and restaurants within walking, not to mention life on the balcony with the spectacular view and of course, not forgetting the occasional and hilarious interruption from the local rooster that's crock is not quite all there! Will definitely book again and thanks for everything!
