“Well equipped villa in great location” We really enjoyed our stay at La Casa sul Lario which is on the shore front at Gravedona. The house is very comfortable with good facilities and was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. We were greeted by Fosca and her mother; Fosca was a great help during our stay. Gravedona seems to be less 'touristy' than other villages on the lake which suited us very well. We ate at a couple of good restaurants in Gravedona and also used the local chef recommended by the villa's owner, Rudy; the food was delicious. We used the ferry service and also rented boats from the nearby Donga (walking distance along the lake shore) to visit other villages on the lake. We would also recommend driving up into the villages in the mountains for walking and/or lunch.

“Beautiful views, nice pool and good apartment.” The team were lovely and helpful(great tip for a fantastic dinner down the road). Excellent folder in the apartment providing information on Italy, Como and plenty of things to do. The folder was a great help when planning trips. The apartment has a good size for a family of four. Having the pool was great too. Quite a drive up the narrow lanes but the views more than make up for that. Gelateria is very good and restaurants in Argegno are good too. For shopping in a supermarket you need to drive a while but it can easily be done after a visit to another town and sightseeing. What we liked best: views!! pool, remoteness, big garden, surroundings(Lake Como) What we liked least: price (high season though in August), craftsmanship in some areas Would we come back? Yes! “Perfect Lake Como Hideaway” I have stayed at the Casa Blevio twice now, once in mid 2009 and once in mid 2010. The apartment was clean, well stocked, and benefits from magnificent views over lake Como. The agent was friendly and helpful. The owners have gathered a large amount of travel and day trip literature which proved to be of great assistance in planning our daily activities. Reasonably frequent buses (usually every hour) connect Blevio with Como and the closest ferry stop at Torno. Blevio itself has a number of attractions. A restaurant called "Stendhal" had just openned on the lakeside when we last visited and was very good and reasonably priced. There are also public tennis courts and a water skiing centre, although the tennis courts didn't appear to be open when we were there. All in all, the Casa Blevio is a perfect hideaway on lake Como. It is close enough to the major attractions in Como, Bellagio etc, but situated in a small and peaceful village with great views over the lake. Enjoy!
