“Really great location and facilities” Stayed for two nights at the apartment which was all and more than we had hoped for. The apartment is on the third floor accessed by a stone spiral staircase but easily accessed if all are reasonably mobile. The apartment is of excellent standard clean with all modern appliances, also a welcome pack which was much appreciated. The apartment is in the Grass Market area of Edinburgh which is a good location to access most popular landmarks (Castle, National Museum etc.) Really enjoyed our stay.

“Lovely property” We had an amazing stay over Christmas. The property is perfectly located for shopping and visiting the city centre. Perfect view from the hot tub watching the planes coming in. Also caught a glimpse of some deer a few times in the field. The cottage itself is Lovely, very quiet, the hot tub and sauna help make it extra special. We would definitely recommend it and would love to visit again ourselves. Thank you.

“Great place to stay while visiting Edinburgh” We truly enjoyed our stay in this apartment for several reasons. It is located in an ideal location, close to the Royal Mile, within easy walking distance of most of the top sites in Edinburgh. it provides a quiet refuge after a busy day of sightseeing. It truly felt like our home away from home with the extra touches the owner has provided. It is by far one of the best apartments we have let in our travels.

“Perfect for the weekend” We have used this apartment before and it is always the first place we try to get when in Edinburgh. Location is fantastic for the old town attractions and only a short walk from Princes Street but what sets this apartment apart from the other we have stayed in are the thoughtful extras and touches that Eve has added. The bed is fantasically comfy and we are already looking at planning our next trip.

“Our best stay ever in Edinburgh!!” I don't think we will ever stay in a hotel in Edinburgh after our 11 day stay in the Greyfriars #4 flat! The location was excellent for exploring the city and the flat really exceeded our expectations! Axel was so helpful meeting us at the flat with the keys and a folder full of tips for the neighborhood. The flat was spotless and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was so nice to come home at the end of the day to so much space and be able to spread out, which is impossible in a hotel room. The views from the flat were amazing too and we couldn't have asked for a better neighborhood for our stay. Thanks so much for an amazing holiday in your beautiful city.

“Fab little find” Everything was perfect. Lisa was great answering any questions I had. Welcome gift was much appreciated of Prosecco Bread Butter Orange Juice and Milk. Plenty of tea coffee etc. Everything we wanted was there. Have recommended this lovely find.

“Brilliant location and beautifully furnished” There were six of us staying here and the apartment was much more spacious than I had expected. It is beautifully furnished with a lovely eye for detail in eg lamps, bedding. Spotlessly clean. My only comment would be that the room I was in had the boiler/pump between the room and ensuite. This made quite a noise when anybody ran water anywhere in the apartment.

“It was wonderful” We booked this apartment from Australia for 2 of us and couple of our friends from Germany, all people 55+. On our arrival we’ve got very friendly hello and welcoming fruits, Scottish biscuits and fresh milk. Everything in the apartment was perfectly clean, kitchen fully equipped and all bedding very comfortable. The apartment located on walking distance from the city center and all attractions. It was very pleasant to stay in Edinburgh.

“Centrally located and family friendly!” I booked this apartment considering it's location and accomodation for 2 adults and 2 children (5 and7) which it did very comfortably. It had everything that we required including washer/dryer, dishwasher and hairdryer. The beds and luxe linens were extremely comfortable. Wifi worked very well to. Lynne was fantastic in the booking phase and then met us at the property to let us in after a long haul flight which was very much appreciated. I would add that there are 3 flights of stairs leading up to the apartment which is worth considering if you have lots of luggage or equipment to bring up and down however does not take away from the experience at all. I really cannot fault this well located and freshly/luxuriously fitted apartment. It is a pleasure to highly recommend this property in Edinburgh.

“The perfect place to stay for a relaxed and very comfortable holiday in Edinburgh” We received excellent service. We were met on arrival by a very pleasant housekeeper who gave us a complete introduction to the property and its facilities. m The flat was spotless and very well provisioned with breakfast basics, personal amenities and housekeeping essentials. The property has been set up with excellence in mind. All fixtures, fittings and amenities are of the highest quality. The flat is located on a very busy street, but when entered via the security door, one enters an oasis of peace and quiet. The location is perfect for a visitor to Edinburgh, being close to the Royal Mile and Castle. In summary, a great location, very quiet, beautifully presented and an ideal home from home. Strongly recommended as a place to stay.

“Very very good” I cannot recommend highly enough. Excellent communication before visit and then met by owner when we arrived early. Owner showed us around apartment and told us where things were and how things worked, this made settling in very easy. Apartment has superb location just below castle in walking distances of Edinburgh sites just off the Royal Mile. It is clean, well furnished and comfortable with everything you need. I would stay again.
