“Brilliant brilliant” Excellent property. Lovely hamper loved celebrating my 50th here with my family. Would recommend to everyone. Could of not work out how to open doors on balconies but was not a major issue.

“Christmas at Rye beach house” What a fantastic few days. The property is of a high standard with all the home comforts you could possibly need. The downstairs garage/table tennis room was fantastic, the table tennis playoffs were a regular evening activity. Ideal for a family with dogs as ours never needed to come up the stairs after their long walks on the beach they were happy to chill in such a large space. We managed to cook well with all the pots and serving dishes. Plenty warm enough even in December. Apple TV allowed us to catch up on Christmas tv we had missed. Camber was quiet but suddenly came alive on Boxing Day when every one from the south came to walk their dogs or even their horses! The booking process and information prior to arrival was excellent. “This was a lovely week” We stayed in THE ROCK as a German family with 3 children, 8,13,15 years old. We all liked the house and the area of the other holiday houses near to us. The weather was fine, so we went every day to the beach ( very good for small children). Our children liked the Wii and it was wonderful that we had Wi-Fi. The house was very clean, only one think we didn't like, the mattresses.

“cosy cottage in a great location” We really enjoyed our short stay in this lovely, well-equipped cottage. It is in a great location for the beach where we swam every day and could also walk our dog. The sand dunes are amazing. It's also only a short drive from Dungeness, Rye and Rye Harbour, where we had a lovely meal in the William the Conqueror pub. We would definitely recommend Beach Retreat and hope to return.

“Best Birthday” I had my birthday weekend here with friends and family. We were blessed by the best weather imaginable so we were swimming, fishing, walking and cycling. The cottage is well equipped for a large party of people and is comfortable. It has a lovely garden and it was part of the pleasure to sit outside, soak up the sun and do nothing more than read a good book. It is in a very quiet location at the end of Camber Sands and near to the beach. We had a a truly memorable weekend!

“Relaxing in Camber!” Excellent cottage with everything at your fingertips! We could not have asked for more. A quick walk to the beach, nice enclosed garden and a fully furnished cottage with loads of nice touches made if feel like home. We will definitely go back.

“First class accomodation 'Beside the sea'” Booked as a family break for 6 adults, 1 baby and 2 dogs, the accommodation for the group was just perfect, it was ‘home from home’. The attention to detail was great: ‘high chair, toys, books, DVD’s for the baby’, ‘food, toys, bed’ for the dogs, and for the adults the ‘accommodation was modern, clean, tidy, spacious with comfortable beds, lots of mod cons in the kitchen and sitting room with well stocked kitchen cupboards and complementary wine in the fridge’. Five minutes walk from the sea but set in very peaceful surroundings. A relaxing break was had by one and all!
