“Fantastic accommodation in a great location” The apartment was larger than average and finished to a very high spec with all the comforts of home. The pool area was great and never overcrowded. The location just outside the city wall was ideal as everything we needed was walkable, whilst still feeling peaceful. Lagos is lovely, one of the few places i've been that i think would suit all age groups. We will definately return to lagos and to this apartment!

“Peaceful & Relaxing Paloverde.” Paloverde sits in a tranquil part of Caramujiera, not overlooked and set in private surroundings. The farmhouse has been tastfully moderised and furnished throughout. The key features are, modern fuly functional working kitchen, three good size bedrooms, two with en-suite and a seperate tiolet for the thrid 'bunk room'. Fully heated and recently refurbished good size pool, with the pool area also being extended and re-tiled. The whole lay-out of the farmhouse makes our stay exetremely enjoyable from the moment you arrive and 'throw' back the big patio doors onto the pool area and relax around the pool area or under the veranda. There is nothing that we like least about Paloverde which is why we ahve been back on three seperate occasions in the apst three years.

“Wonderful spacious apartment” Wonderful, very spacious apartment ,modern very clean bathrooms wonderful showers,fantastic aircon ,pool very inviting, everything you could need for self catering is here everything is brand new , owner very helpful with any questions you need answers to , only problem we found was that in all honesty its not near anything, apart from the golf courses that is, it is more like 30mins walk to beach/marina/supermarkets so a little too far in that heat and also quite a remote road from here to the main road to villamora , so a car is a must really as it will be 10 euros for a cab one way , also we found that the cabs had trouble finding the apartment when called , also just a small detail that the owner said he will remedy soon is that there were only two sunbeds, so in all a great place for a very quiet break away,teenagers will need more to do than stay here unless its peace and quiet they want too. Wont say anything about marina etc as its all there and much fun can be had by all , just stay away from the Liana boat trip its overbooked and most of the boat seating is inside very cramped and was more like a very cheap ferry ,they also say dolphins can be seen but the last time anyone did on that boat was years ago , they dont go far enough out to sea for that so dont be fooled, your better off doing the Excite dolphin safari really good fun and defo worth it wonderful seeing them in the sea .

“Excellent Holiday Apartment, Suitable for Families Young and Old.” We have just enjoyed a wonderful week, we went with our daughter, husband and their 1 year old baby and we all found the apartment very pleasing. It is in a wonderful spot, a very short walk to the beach and town centre. The complex is clean and very secure with a very good pool attendant on duty at all times The apartment is spacious with the added benefit of the terrace opening onto a large garden area, ideal for young children. We found the owner very obliging and any correspondence leading up to the holiday was answered promptly. We would definitely recommend this apartment. Another plus is you are only minutes from the Chill Out Bar, good value for money.

“Central Location, Fantastic Views” Centrally located apartment, just 5 mins. walk to train station and 10 mins to bus station. (Lagos has very good access by bus/train to interesting areas along the Algarve.) The apartment itself is very nice, clean and quiet, with a fantastic sea view from the balcony. “Exceptional villa inside and out, luxury fixtures & fittings, good sea views, plus child & family friendly” We arranged to stay at this villa at very short notice and the response from the owners was very prompt and efficient in all aspects of the booking. In my view the property is highly suited to families with children, and groups. We were able to fully relax knowing that the pool had a mesh fence to keep little ones out (this can be removed). The downstairs really lends itself to family living with an open plan kitchen dining and living space, this leads out onto the patio via 2 x double doors. The patio does provide good shade during the day, we also made use of the gas BBQ. We found it was great to have use of a bed-guard for our 3 year old, and a toddler toilet seat, there was also a small table and chairs which our 2 children loved to use. We all slept well the beds were nice and comfortable; there was plenty of storage space drawers and wardrobes etc. The kitchen was well equipped and the appliances were very good quality and easy to use. There is also an upstairs lounge which is beautiful. I would not hesitate to recommend this villa to anyone else. We would definitely love to stay again.

“Very nice apartment and owner. Worth to stay.” Big and clean apartment. Kitchen fully equipped with all what you need. Room clean. Only bed mattress wasn't too comfortable but that could be improve other wise can't fault anything and will recommend to anybody and also stay there in future. Shops are very close and the beach is only about 8 minutes walk about same distance to intermarche but there is one market closer if you don't want go further. “Great villa - poor admin” I have just returned from a weeklong stay at Villa Sete, the villa was excellent. Exactly as advertised. There were no concerns over security as have been mentioned in previous reviews. The rooms were all clean and spacious and comfortably accommodated a group of 8 adults. The pool heating did stop working at one point however Miguel quickly got this sorted. It was well appointed with all you need to enjoy your stay. The location is ideal as both the old and new towns are a short walk away and there are a few smaller shops and bars around the corner. The only downside with the experience was the booking through Columbia estates. Having booked our transfers with Jim I expected them to be waiting upon arrival, they were not. I called and left a message for Jim which was not returned. We therefore had to arrange a taxi which was more expensive than the transfers we'd booked. I then called Jim again whilst en route to the villa to advise what had happened and was assured this would not happen again on the transfers I had arranged for the next two parties arriving the following two days, he assured me this was sorted. Needless to say when two more of the party arrived the following day they called the transfer company and were told they had not sent anyone and wouldn't be doing so. I would certainly recommend Villa Sete, perhaps not Columbia estates.

“Perfect apartment for a quiet, spacious holiday” We spent a week here at the beginning of June, and loved it. The apartment was clean and spacious, loads of room for 2 people, 2 balconies and a patio with BBQ. The pool is great for a lazy afternoon, and local supermarket only 5mins walk - even has English tea! For us the location was perfect, close to the old town and beach and away from the touristy strip - though it is uphill, so you need to be happy to walk! We had a great time and would definitely recommend.

“Excellent for young family and grandparents” This is a lovely villa just suitable in every way for a family with young baby, preschool child and grandparents. Lovely setup, well equipped and so quiet with just a 20 minute walk into town. There was an excellent resturant, mini supermarket and playground nearby. The addition of wifi and sky TV was also a bonus. A very nice welcome pack was greatfully received and Patricia the villa manager and Maria the cleaner were very helpfull and friendly. Could not wish for any more and would love to come back as this was a great holiday!

“A very relaxing holiday, a lovely spacious apartment with with all amenities to hand” We (family of 4 including two daughters aged 11 and 8) had a most relaxing stay in Villa Baia. The apartment complex was lovely - the apartment was very spacious and very clean - the pool area was lovely and the staff very friendly and helpful. The complex is located very close to the Luz beach and promenade with plenty of restaurants for all tastes. We would definitely recommend this apartment complex and area to family and friends and we intend to go back again soon.

“Oustanding Accomodation 5* experience highly recommend” Cannot recommend this villa enough. From the moment you arrive you are greeted by friendly and helpful Mike and Emma backed up during the week by housekeeper Julietta. We stayed here last year and it was awesome this year was even better. The maintenance of the property is second to none with Various improvements that have been made since our last stay - new sun beds, new awning to name but a few. The facilities are second to none including a well appointed Kitchen. Cannot thank Carolina enough for her expert contact throughout the booking making the whole process very straight forward and stress free. Would definitely stay here again :-)

“Beautiful Villa” Just come back from my hen party in this villa. It was beautiful, clean, well located and had the most lovely pool and decor. The owners could not do enough! We had the most amazing weekend. Its a small taxi (or tuc tuc) ride away from the old town, which has a beautiful beach, restaurants and cute shops. The night life there is good fun too! There is a lovely seafood place about a five minute walk away from the villa and also a lovely beach with nice beach food. Reccomend Reccomend! Suitable for familys or groups of girls!

“A little piece of Heaven” This luxurious apartment offered everything we could possibly need. The location was absolutely perfect just a short walk from the village where there is an abundance of excellent restaurants and pubs offering craic and entertainment. The accommodation provides excellent views from both the living room and main bedroom. Alvor also offers an excellent bus service and we went to Vilamora, Monchique and pria da Lux. 5* hotels provide spa facilities should you wish to indulge yourself all within walking distance. The service from our arrival at Faro airport where our driver was waiting for us to our departure was perfect. Michael's advice on where to eat and drink was very helpful. We would certainly recommend this apartment to our friends and we hope to be back to this apartment later this year.

“a home from home!” The villa was amazing and had everything we could need for our family! As a family of 3 generations it had enough space and comfort to relax and enjoy our stay.The outdoor space was super especially for the children during the day and the adults in the evenings! We all loved the huge BBQ and dining area and certainly made full use of it! The municipal market has a great butcher and fishmonger with very reasonable prices. Intermarche is also good but we found it could be chaotic most days. Again prices were fairly reasonable. We went to the beach most days but preferred the Falaisa beach even though it was further to walk, as Olhos de Agua beach was usually packed! We did have a car but found that it wasn't really essential as everything was within walking distance. All in all a fantastic holiday and we all want to return as soon as we can.

“The perfect home from home!” The best and simplest review I can write for this villa is that I want to live in Portugal and I want this to be my home! I travelled with my boyfriend and family in June 2012 for 2 weeks and could not fault this beautiful home that Mr Parker has made for his guests. We were pleased to meet Graham Parker on our arrival; a charming Englishman who we discovered has been living in the area for about 10 years now. He ensured that we had everything we could have needed to enjoy our stay and his superb knowledge of the local area would come in handy for us later on. The 4-bed villa is set in a beautiful location just a very short walk away from the marina in Vilamoura. Busy as the marina can be at times, you feel a million miles from it in the very large back garden of the villa when the only noise you will hear is the crack of golf balls being driven down the fairway of the golf course behind the marina. You may also hear a passing plane but always remember, that this is the route home from Faro, so any plane you see will be leaving and you can feel sorry for the poor souls leaving Portugal while you sunbathe in the back garden. A huge, beautiful tree sits in the back garden with the garden around it and almost stands and looks proudly over the more than adequately sized pool and sun loungers. An array of lilos and water toys were a great addition, even for ones of a mature nature :) Also in the garden is a beautiful built in barbeque (which was used on a few occasions) and a wonderful patio area with table and seating on the terrace looking over the pool. It was the perfect base for brunch by the pool and a few sangrias as the afternoons wore on. Downstairs in the villa contains a huge living area, dining table and from what I am told a new refurbished kitchen which was all more than adequate for the 8 this villa holds. A separate utility room was a handy and pleasant surprise with a little yard to the side to dry your clothes quickly in the Portuguese sunshine. 2 bedrooms and a bathroom finish off the downstairs. The bathroom looks to be designed to highest spec, and both the twin and double bedrooms are beautifully decorated. The double bedroom downstairs is huge, with patio doors leading out on to the terrace and a beautifully decorated ensuite with a huge, tiled walk in shower. Upstairs there is another bathroom (of the same high design) and another twin and double bedroom. Both of these bedrooms open out on to a stunning balcony terrace looking out over the back garden and the golf course behind. This is a complete suntrap, comes with a lovely table and chairs and makes for a lovely few nights with a glass of wine watching the sun go down! The villa is located perfectly within Vilamoura. A leisurely walk would take about 10 mins but in the glorious sunshine, it was never a chore. Just a few hundred yards down the street is a local supermarket, which has everything you will need for your stay. My father very gladly took on the chore of fetching the freshly baked bread in the mornings for breakfast! There is also a little pub beside the shop if the walk there gets too hot and you need a drink to cool down - I discovered this when all the men in the group decided to go to the shop "to get the daily papers". As I mentioned earlier, Mr Parker's advice became very valuable to us on our trip. Not wanting to eat at the Marina every night and pay over the odds for food that was priced for tourists, he was able to recommend a wonderful array of very local restaurants for us to try. The food in these places was traditional Portuguese fayre and about half the price if not more than at the Marina. Don't get me the wrong, the Marina is stunning but if you want to eat like the locals, ask Mr Parker about Za Galo, La Cabana, Retiro des Campones and Jacinto (for the fish lovers). He also directed to us to BJ's Oceanside Bar where we enjoyed our last Friday eating fabulous food and listening to live music overlooking the beach. All in all, I really cannot find any faults with the villa, the location or Mr Parker himself. We knew if there was anything we needed, he was at the end of the phone and that was very reassuring being in a place where we didn't speak the language or know our way around! This villa will appeal to anyone who wants to go away and enjoy some peace and quiet in the sun with all that Vilamoura has to offer within easy reach. I very much hope that I will be back in Vilamoura some day and if I am, there is no question in my mind as to where I will stay!

“Great Apartment, location perfect” We had an extended stay at this apartment during the winter of 2013. The apartment was very easy to book and the owners could not have been more helpful, also Michelle who looks after the apartment is very amenable. On arrival, because we knew where the property was, we were given key codes which were very easy to operate and had not problem accessing the apartment. Once inside we were pleasantly surprised to find at how clean and modern this apartment is and the facilities were everything we could have asked for, . The apartment is comfortable and the furnishings are lovely. We had the grandchildren come and stay for a short while and they loved the pool and outdoor play area which were both well maintained. The property is in a perfect location just a couple of minutes walk from bars, restaurants and the strip. We would definitely recommend this apartment to our friends and family and hope to go back ourselves shortly.

“Great family holiday” Our family of 15 stayed in the villa for a week. The location was excellent and we were not bothered by the noise from the strip. The pool was great for the children and had lots of floats available. We had trouble with the air con in one of the rooms but Miguel promptly got this repaired. Some of the party felt the mattresses down stairs were quite hard. Our only complaint really was lack of bowls and pots for cooking. Just a minor issue with such a crowd. All in all fantastic villa...we will be back!

“Perfect” We stayed at 2bc village street last week and I can honest say that we could not of asked for a better place to stay the apartment is very clean and modern with everything you could possibly need, it's a real home from home! The location is beautiful with pristine gardens and gorgeous flowers everywhere there are several pools and the marina and beach is about a 15 mins walk away but you can get a taxi for just 5 euros. Or you can jump on the family train. However there are plenty of bars a restaurants on the complex. We were there for a family wedding and couldn't have asked for a more Perfect place! Ideal for families with children of all ages. I highly recommend the place and this apartment
